8th September 2011 - Dance Live Highlights


Dance Live was the second headline show in the St. Helens Dance Festival. In association with Liverpool's Radio City 96.7 FM, the event showcased a wide variety of the town's talent, as well as high-profile headline acts from television's top talent shows, including Tobias Mead (Britain's Got Talent finalist), MD Productions (Britain's Got Talent), Dance Dynamix (Got To Dance) and The Ginger Bread Man (Got To Dance).

17th June 2011 - Break It Event Highlights Reel

Break it was a large international Breakdancing Competition, which took place on 28th March in St. Helens, England, and featured dancers from the UK, Russia, Holland, Germany, France and Turkey.

The event was organised by St. Helens' UC Crew (uccrew.co.uk) and St. Helens Council. It was also supported by Radio City FM, Bustin A Hump, Flowrex Events, Attention to Detail and Darkstar Laser Quest.

20th May - Break It & Dance Live


Renaissance Film Productions at Break It & Dance Live in St HelensWe have been chosen by St. Helens council to film two large dance events featuring acts from both Britain's Got Talent and Got To Dance.

Break It - in association with Radio City 96.7 FM
Date: Saturday 28 May
Time: 11am – 7pm
Venue: Church Square

Break dancing teams from across the country including St Helens' very own UC Crew go head to head in competitive ‘dance offs’ - as well as individual showcases and performances by Nemesis. 

Spectators can also try their hand on the skateboard and BMX ramps! Other activities include street entertainment and a huge graffiti wall with interactive workshops.

This new, regional event has already attracted high-profile headline acts including Tobias Mead (Britain’s Got Talent finalist), MD Productions (Britain’s Got Talent), Dance Dynamix (Got To Dance) and The Ginger Bread Man (Got To Dance) to perform on stage for the biggest dance event of the year!

 

9th April 2011 - Platform Arts Pop-Up Studio Event.


Platform are a group of artists who are seeking affordable and accessible studio space within the town of St. Helens, England. We followed them as they took their cause out onto the streets of the town, in the form of a Pop-Up Studio event. Platform are an open group who welcome artists from any medium.
